Next it was time for the graduates to receive their diplomas. Up they trooped, solemn and radiant, in many sizes, all beautiful as only the young can be beautiful. Even the ugly ones were beautiful, even the surly ones, the fat ones, even the spotty ones. None of them understands this -- how beautiful they are. But nevertheless they're irritating, the young. Their posture is appalling as a rule, and judging from their songs they snivel and wallow, grin and bear it having gone the way of the foxtrot. They don't understand their own luck.

They are also signed to the same (LOCAL) label as bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden were (SubPop Records). Maybe it's a new Seattle mvmnt!!!!

Seriously. The last band out of Seattle I really cared about was Band of Horses and they sold out to a car commercial so I lost all respect for them.

So seriously. Fleet Foxes. Every music critic agrees (first time ever, so u should know I mean business)

Once.  Anyone seen it? 

Basically, it's the best movie I've seen in a long, long time, and the best use of five bucks that I can remember.  I'm amazed.  I didn't know that "Falling Slowly" won an Oscar for Best Original Song.  It deserves it.

The Associated Press reports that Max P. Sanders, 19 is charged with a felony for attempting to auction off his vote in the upcoming presidential election on eBay. From the article: '"Fundamentally, we believe it is wrong to sell your vote," said John Aiken, a spokesman for the office. "There are people that have died for this country for our right to vote, and to take something that lightly, to say, 'I can be bought.'" [...] "It's a real shame"' Yes, that is a terrible shame, isn't it. Perhaps we should arrest, prosecute, and imprison everyone who sells their vote. The boy says it was all a joke, but prosecutors aren't laughing. Max faces up to 5 years in prison and $10,000 in fines if he is convicted.

So it's illegal for you to sell your vote, but if your a politician your expected to sell yours once you have been elected, to every special interest group out there, sounds logical to me.
