A vow...

I'm on board with that. I will only use unbranded (unless it's a choice between branded and stranded).

I gave up Mobil years ago, and I'm sure they're not feeling the pinch because of my measly $30 every 3 weeks, but still, it makes me feel good.
Well them there's just liberal commie terrorist werds.
They may be...

You always say it like no one else can.
I don't even know where to find unbranded gas. Hmm...

Nice use and variations of the word "fucking."

Also, excellent point. Fuck Big Oil.

But you just said one person can't make a difference :P lol jk... There's a similar suggestion going around these parts, about boycotting certain 'Big Oil's. I already only purchase gas from one of two companies (and for two years I only used ONE company for gas because I had a card that gave me 20 cents off per litre... sigh.. I miss that card). Anyways, I'm glad it makes you feel better to boycott the bastards. I've been boycotting one of the major phone companies in Canada for about 7 years now, and it's been AWESOME. lol
I know I ain't making a difference. I wish I had a 20 cents off card.
The card was a 'bonus' deal when I leased my car. In all it was worth $500. I should've saved it. That was back when it was 70-80 cents a litre (I don't know what that translates per gallon, but it's $1.20 per litre around here now... boooo).
Just great. Our gas consumption will soon be equal to our frelling house note. Lovely. God bless the USA and Canada.
I get your point... but how do you know where your gas is coming from, really? Those "unbranded" sources buy the excess from the big companies sometimes.
Indeed. I don't know. I just know that I will not go to a store marked Exxon, Mobil, etc... For now, it is gas at Sam's Club. It's the cheapest and I have NO idea where their gas ultimately comes from.
