An Open Challenge...

I challenge you, all of Vox, to find a better steak than the one I had tonight. We, of course, went to Leatha's with Kevin Gerard, a visiting author, and I finally had their 16 oz. ribeye (medium). It was better than any other steak I have had in my entire life - I promise - and it only cost $20.00. I have been to fancy, ritzy, and pricey joints that had very good steaks, but nothing like this. It was perfectly salty, juicy, tender, and smoked. Even the fat was tasty, and I normally don't like the fatty part too much.

Bring it on Vox, find a better steak...

Steak. I do love it.

The one I had Christmas Eve. I got two from my local butcher, one for me, one for my pal. Cooked them up myself, then smeared garlic/herby cheese on top, and made gravy by throwing a glass of Port in the pan I used to cook them in. Had them with boiled potatoes. Fucking lush they were.
