Meat Day a Day Late...

[ciò è buono]
OMG, that looks GOOD!!!! My bro and sis-in-law live about 20 minutes from Kansas City, which is another good place for BBQ. In fact, my first BBQ in KC was a little bit scary (about 26 years ago). A TRUE hole in the wall place. You sat at a formica table or up at the stained formica counter and they basically slop down a few ladels of shreaded BBQ pork on a paper place (which you daren't move at all once it's in front of you as the sauce will have saturated the bottom of the plate, making it prone to tearing). You also get a hunk of cornbread with some butter or honey. That was it. They didn't offer anything else. BOY, was it good.
That looks like a top eating establishment. Can you mail me the lat/lon, so if I get it together to do the journey I dream about, I can drop in there.
[this is good]
I don't know how I missed this. And, I'm really suprised to see that Leatha has an e-commerce site. I am very interested in the shirt that says: Muddy Waters Invented Electricity... Ms. Leatha Invented Bar-B-Que
What does that even MEAN???
Yeah, the web site sorta takes away from the goodness, albeit only a bit. However, the website is out of date on a few issues, so maybe that is a good sign. Trust me though, once you have had the Leathas then you will know what the shirt means... It is that good.

Please esplain: "Muddy Waters Invented Electricity."

I am sorry but that information is beyond my knowledge. We, in MS, are lucky to have the electric stuff - you know, because of Katrina.
OK. Here's the deal:
Willie Brown said "Muddy Waters invented electricity," meaning that Waters took the Delta blues, played it electric, and then took it to Chicago and-- as they say-- blowed it up.

It also makes me giggle because of that record he did in 1968, Electric Mud.

Ya learn sumpthin evry day...

I try not to, but then again, it is interesting... You must eat the Leathas!
